Pio's Proverb 2: We are all adopted!

Maria, my neice, and Patrick, her husband, have been trying to conceive a baby for 10 years. I attended their wedding that was full of love and joy.  Well, early this week, their love and joy was renewed with such intensity as to even cause them tears.  Being childless, they have been trying to adopt. They were recently called by their adoption attorney who asked them over the phone: "Are you ready to adopt a baby?!"  They went to the hospital where the birthmother was in labor and saw the baby as soon as it was born. They held the bably in their arms on the very birthday of their new-born baby: Leo Joseph! He was 7 lbs and 2 ounces and perfect in every way because he came by way of cesarean section.  There was not a spot on him. He was a bundle that "fell from the Hands of God" - as grandma Josie said so eloquently.  Leo Joseph has blonde eyelashes and blonde fuzz on his head. He has blue eyes and is gorgeous!
What is so intriguing is how incredibly close the baby is to his adoptive parents. Of course, there will be an "open adoption" that will allow the baby and his birthmother to know, visit and love one another openly. The birthmother has 6 children at home and cannot afford a 7th since she is single. But she never consdired to abort this absolutlely beautiful and loved child. The joy of Maria and Patrick are at a near fever pitch! God be praised that the birthmother is so pro-life. Had she not been and had this child been aborted, all the great joy of everyone - baby included - would have been destroyed!  There is no such thing as an unplanned pregrancy. From God's point of view, all are planned by Him!  All is joy for everyone - even for God!
Does God have this joy at our birth as Maria and Patrick had at Leo Joseph's  birth? I understand that God already has 8 billions kids born on this planet; but that doesn't seem to slow down His Providence to make more and more babies.  He is a prolific Dad! He doesn't seem to worry about providing for them because He told us to "increase and multiply" and to feed one another. If you took all the people of the world and put them all in one place, they would all fit comfortably in the State of Texas - with a house for each and a yard for each house.  We are not over populated. We have the technology to feed ten times of the population living today. But do we have the love to feed them?  With love all things are possible.  So, God knows He has lots and lots of room for billions of  more kids. Young mothers should trust in God's Providence and Love and always give birth to their precious infants. There are parents like Maria and Patrick who are longing for a baby!
When we were baptized into Christ Jesus, we because "adopted" sons and daughters of God because His life through the Holy Spirit comes to us to give us the gifts of Fatih, Hope, and Charity. We are, therefore, all adopted sons and daughters of God. But like these adoptive parents, God is right there as we are "born again by the water and the Spirit!" Leo Joseph belongs to Maria and her husband.  They held him with theri eyes at birth and in their arms soon after. Their love and joy mirrors God's love and joy over us!
Let us rejoice at being "adopted" by God the Father who sees Jesus' image in us!  There are no last names with God.  This baby is Leo of God, you are Mary or Frank or Linda of God. I am Pio of God.  We belong to the one great and old family "Of God!"
Love, Pio, "granduncle of Leo Joseph"
