Pio's Proverb 26: Abortion not only kills babies in the womb; it kills and injures their mothers!

I was in tears when reading the account of 3 women who died from abortion in this one clinic in Lathrup Village. The first was a African-American woman age 25. She was just sent home too early after an abortion and died from internal bleeding and loss of blood from a perforated uterous. She died at home; her baby died at the clinic. They both died because of a dangerous procedure that was not only not necessary but was against the 5th commandment. The second lady was 37 years old who died from the same causes. The third was the hardest to take. She was 15 years old and died from her abortion at this same clinic. Her story was widely known because Feiger was on the case. But how sad that she and her baby were lost forever. Giving birth would have been much healthier, happier and natural for all of these three women. Death begets death. I so pray for these women to find eternal rest with the Lord who forgives all and has mercy on all.

In another clinic, there were several deaths and 23 major surgeries to correct surgical errors in abortion.

But what of all the other women who have survived an abortion? Are they hurt? Emotionally, very much so. There is a Project Rachel to help these women heal and feel loved and know that God has forgiven them.
There is a woman in a nursing home is 90. Recently, an employe ask her why she was going up and down the halls and into rooms. The 90 year old woman said: "I had an abortion when I was 20; I know I did wrong. I am looking for my baby!"  The pain of abortion and loss of her baby did not heal in 70 years.

Dearest Lord,  please let every woman who reads this seek help from Catholic Social Services in her areas and from her nearest Compassion Center. Give her the courage to keep her baby and give birth to her baby. Let her know that abortion does not solve her problem; it only gives her enormously greater problem because women are not raised to be killers. They are good and maternal. Their baby in their womb has a beating heart. Let every women hear the song of the child in her: "Let me live; let me live. If you must choose, choose me and let me live."

If God were to give me millions of dollars,  I would purchase a van with ultra-sound equipment and provisions and a nurse and a loud speaker on top to invite women who are about to abort to come in and have some coffee or Coke and talk things over with a truly caring and loving person. How many would I purchase? One Compassion van to be parked outside every abortion clinic in the US. I would need 878 just for Planned Parenthood alone. But I surmise that there may be about 7000 abortion clinics in the US. So at $30,000 per van, that would be a total price of  $210 million dollars.  I have asked the Knights of Columbus to purchase 878 Compassion Vans. So far there has not been a response. The K of C has great compassion for the unborn. So, I pray they will respond.

I know that in front of abortion clinics is where babies' lives can be saved best. I saw a mom going into to an abortion clinic leading her 15 year old daughter in for an abortion. The father of the girl lingered behind. I called out to him compassionately: "That little girl is 5 month pregnant!" He answered and said: "She is a little more than 5 months."  I said: "Do you know what a 5 month old looks like in the womb?" He said, "No."  I took out my only color photo of a 5 month old baby in the womb sucking her/his thumb and said to him: "Here is what a 5 month old baby looks like in the womb."  He reacted startled and emotionnally and said: "O my!...may I have this picture?"  I said, "It is yours!"  He went into the clinic well after his wife and daughter had entered. I saw him going up the steps through the large glass windows. In 12 minutes, he brought his wife and daughter out and placed them in the car. His face seemed that he had just come from a battle:  battle with the nurses, doctors, wife and daughter. But he prevailed. He would not let his grandchild be aborted. That occurence deeply moved me.  I was never the same.  I knew that millions of babies could be saved if only they had an advocate at the last supreme moment. Baby are aborted because the mothers do not see them. They think that this is mere tissue. But these babies in abortion fight the instruments of death. They kick and push away the intruments with their hands and feet. They want to live. Let us save them!!  love, Pio
