Pio's Proverb 65: "Pray for Dominic"

Dominic's parents are very concerned and worried about their little eleven-year-old Dominic. As a young child he had lukemia but went into remission. Recently, Dominic complained about severe headaches. He was examined and scheduled for surgery immediately. He has brain cancer.  His parents attend Sacred Heart in Dearborn, Michigan. So, they are praying without ceasing for Dominic. Can you please pray for Dominic and his parents and his doctors? I will let you know how he is doing by adding an update to this blog in the future. In the meantime, let us pray even now.

                       Lord, Jesus, You know all. You know every pain Dominic is having. You know how scared he is. You know how scared his parents are. Dominic all through his lukemia was like Peter walking on the water. You took hold of Peter's arm when he started to sink.  Please take a firm hold on Dominic's arms so that he does not sink emotionally, physically, or spiritually. Hold him up tight to your Sacred Heart so he can totally trust in You to save him. Peter said: "Lord, save me!" Please hear Dominic's heart saying: "Lord, save me!" Hold up his parents, too. Please be so kind as to send Your Holy Spirit to calm everyone, to enlighted the doctors, to give the parents hope and trust in You. Please give to Dominic at this very moment Your Healing Love. Hold Dominic in Your arms tonight, Jesus, so he can rest with no cares, so that he can feel Your Healing Love and  be happy in the morning. All this we ask in Your Name, Jesus, Amen.

                       Dear Saint Dominic, it is your Feast Day today, August 8th. In your time, you preached against the heresy of those who said that the body was evil because you knew that the body was good and sacred. Please take care of the body of your little spiritual son, Dominic, who was named after you!  He has devotion to you; please you have tender devotion to him. Please obtain from Jesus, Our Lord, to send from the Father the Holy Spirit to heal Dominic according to the Father's will. But I know, St. Dominic, that whatever you ask the Father in Jesus' Name for Dominic will be given to you and to him. Please show all your love for your spiritual son, Dominic, now...and always. Amen!
