Pio's Proverb 91: Green is the Lake.

Today was very unusual: There was thunder but no rain. The clouds were dark and the sun still shining. The wind was blowing hard; and white caps could be seen from here to the horizon about 20 miles away. The water was so green - a  beautiful green - because the sun was out shining on the lake eventhough storm clouds surrounded it. I thought to myself. There will not be a bird on those waves. But I was wrong: there was one swan [without its usual mate at its side]  bobbing in the waves and having a great time. The white swan among the white caps seem to perfectly blend into this unusual scene.

Why the Lake looked so green, I do not know. Being an artist, I know how to make that exact color onto canvass. But I do not know how God does it: how He paints it just for me.

I guess God has special days when He wants to show off His talents. The psalmist says it more eloquently: "The heavens declare the glory of God."  Whenever I see surprises in color and scenes of water and sky, I feel He is painting that just for me because I am a painter as if to say to me: "What do you think of My painting? Beautiful, yes?"

Yes, Lord, yes....and how beautiful are You, Lord?

Love, Pio
