Pio's Proverb 187: TAKING THE HIT: that saved lives!

No SCREAMING of brakes! Just a BIB BANG!!!!! as my 6000 lbs Lincoln Continental Towncar was "totaled" in one big BLOW to the stronest rear bumper on the road that still put a deep "V" shape in it and bent down my car's steel frame to the street! The other driver was doing 50 mph plus as he SLAMMED into me who was traveling in the same direction 23 Mile road East in Chesterfield/New Baltimore area. Yes, I was struck with such a blow as to "total" my 1979 Lincoln and send it to salvage yard and me to the Emergency Room at McClaren Hospital. The Truama surgeon went over every inch of my legs and chest and abdomen and head. I had bruises inside to my chest wall and my heart, chest and back were in great pain! I took the HIT that saved a few lives. Why? Because if my car had not stopped this man and his 1996 Buick Regal, he and his car would have gone across the street to wipe out a few West Bound cars in a head-on collision or his wiping out a few pedestrians; but God's Providence caused me to be "at the right place at the right time!"

The only warning I had from God that this was about to take place was a sudden and profound Peace about a minute before the accident as if God were saying to me: "My son, do not worry. You are in my hands...not matter what!" Yes, I was comforted for sure; but almost landed into God's arms for good!

Also see my Pio's Proverbs 130: Angels in Blue to see how wonderful Officer VanAker of the Chesterfield Police Dept was to me and how Officer Unger was so ministering to the needs of the other driver: both officers truly were helpful and kind and good to all in this accident. I appreciate tht good reports both men wrote as well. They are still helping me now with my insurance claim. Please just google: http://piowordstotheheart.blogspspot.com and go to #130: Angels in Blue. Please know that Medstar Ambulance personnel were extremely kind, courteous, professional and life-saving! Thank God for Medstar as well!!

So, it seems that God really wanted me to be the one to save this man's life and the lives of others. God's Providence works in strange ways. This man had become unconscious while doing 50 mph..and had to be stopped for his sake and the sake of other people. God had asked me to take the HIT so that others might live. Seems that God -- Jesus  -- is in the habit of doing this Himself! He took the HIT on the cross so that we could live in heaven with Him for all eternity. So, wanna be saved!? Let Him take the HIT for your sins so that you can live! But to that effectively, you need to go to Him with sorrow for your sins and entrust yourself to His infinite tender Mercy! The Prodigal son shows us that humility and trust when he came home to his Father's embrace, [Who had been going to the road every day to see if His son was coming home] and to a new ring, robe and celebration of his home-coming. There was a joyful feast! Repentance is a joyful home-coming! Jesus awaits you with open arms...How do we know? Jesus, Himself, created and lovingly told the parable of the Prodigal son. Jesus was describing His Father and Himself. Jesus told Phillip: "How can you ask me to show you the Father. When you see me, you are seeing the Father!"

peace and love, Pio
