Pio's Proverb 216: I love you, Mom!

Just a lovely thing happen at today's Mass at St. Mary's.  Just before Mass, I made a visit to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament in the little Eucharistic chapel. As customary for me -- as I was just passing the tabernacle which is inches from the door -- I kissed the tabernacle to give my mom and dad kiss, whom I know are both present with Jesus in this tabernacle. This is true theology. All those who have died in Christ, are present in His Eucharistic Heart in the tabernacle. When I want to visit my parents, I do go to the cemetery. I go to the tabernacle where they are both alive and present. Sometimes if I forget to give my mom a kiss when entering, she lovingly reminds me that she wishes her kiss.

Well, mom really responded to me today in a most unusual way. In a surprising way! During Mass Deacon Bill had to pass me to go into the chapel to get more Eucharists (Hosts). He passed me by just inches. But on his way out, my head was down in prayer so I did not know he was passing while carrying the Eucharist. As I was in prayer, I felt my mom's presence so strong and loving, that I opened my eyes to see where she was. As I looked up, I noticed that Deacon Bill had passed me one second ago. As, my mom passed me in the Eucharist, she returned my kiss with her own hug and kiss. It was strong enough to make me look up and see if she were there!

I love you, Mom!

xoxo your son, Peter
