"Lying to one another" is a pefect title for our age. Here are a few lies to prove the validity of that title:
1) People lie to themselves what true happiness is: they seek it in money, property, in success at work without God, in multiple sexual partners, in one partner outside of marriage, in fame, in making a name for oneself, in living without God, in atheism, in witchcraft, in mispresenting themselves constantly in resumes and in all political office-seeking of the Presidency and Congressional seats, in even intellectual pursuits devoid of spiritual pursuits, in entertainments filling in their loneliness, in body building and sports as a religion, in music and rockstars as a religion, and in history without theology, in no need for prayer or relaionship with God.
When Shakespeare said: "Methinks you protest too much", he was seeing through the political and personal lies of his time. Let us be as astute as he in discering how people lie even when they pretend to be telling the truth. Shakespeare says out speech betrays those who lie habitually.
2) Not only by speech but by action are lies: all fornication and adultery are personal lying using bodies not words.
3) President Nixon not only lied to the American people of having no envolvment in Watergate, he told his duaghter that he had not evolment so that she could go on national television and tell the world that her dad had no envolvement. She did tell the Nation that her dad was telling the truth. But he lied to her.
4) President Clinton told the Nation that he did not have Sex with his aid; but he did have sexual intimacy.
President Clinton on his last day in office signed an executive order granting legal abortion to abort a child AFTER birth if no one wanted tha baby. President Bush on his first day in office wrote an executive order to cancel President Clinton's executive order. But the great LIE was that it would be legal to abort a child after birth. But the biggest LIE of all is that legal abortion is good and OK when the Fifth Commandment says: "Thou shalt not kill." Anything that contradicts the Commandments of God is a LIE.
5) The first lie on earth: Satan told Eve: "God knows well that you will not die..but will be like Him knowing good and evil." Now this lie made God out to be a liar. God said she would die if she ate of this fruit; but Satan said God knew she would not die. Whom should we believe: a devil or God? Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth and the life." He did not say He has the truth or tells the truth but that He IS the TRUTH.
6) President Johnson as he sent missles into VietNam before a fire was shot, said this to the American people, "No one at first did anything to stop Hitler!" So it was OK for We Americans to send in missles to escalate the war. Because of the political lie to get the oil fields of VietNam, 350,000 American boys died - some after the war because of Agent Orange. This war split the Nation over the next 11 years. We were as a Nation as split as we were during the Civil War. Why? Because of the Big Lie!
7) President Obama - to get his ObamaCare bill passed promised conservatives that he would not use Federal tax money to fund abortion. But after the bill was passed, he signed an executive order [bypassing congress] to use Federal monies to fund abortion - especially millions to Planned Parenthood - the #1 abortion provider in the Nation which was founded on extermination of Black American by abortion.
8) Planned Parenthood: "The Black Angel of Death" - has 878 Planned Parenthood clinics in the Nation. These clinics pose as clinics that do mammograms and screening for cervical cancer. They do not! They LIE in these ways: 1) "Planned Parenthood" - the title is a lie: They only plan to kill babies to make money. They do not Plan Parenthood - that is to help babies to be born. 2) They Plan the death of babies. They schedule babies to be killed ever day - just as the Germans scheduled how man Jews each day would be gassed to death. 3) They take Federal monies to kill babies to make money. Executive director of clinics for Planned Parent, Mrs. Johnson, said that a Planned Parenthoo directive said to "increase the number of abortions to increase revenues. Thus to increase the amount of abortions is the expressed goals of Planned Parenthood.
9) Roe v Wade, 1973, Chief Justice Blackmund put into the Law the most henious law ever divised by manking: that a woman can abort baby on the premise of "privacy" when the U.S. Constitution says: "All men have the inalienable rights - endowed by the Creator - to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." This law is exactly what Satan told Eve, "Surely God knows well you will not die." In that lie, Satan was telling Eve that she can decide for herself what it right and wrong. That is exactly what Roe v Wade says: "You can decide for yourself "what is right or wrong: what is murder or not." From this lie, 60,000,000 babies have been aborted - that is 1.3 million a year. I talk to a nurse who was persuaded by a clinic to get an abortion. She said this to me: "They told me it was not a baby and that it would not hurt. But it WAS a baby; and the pain was excruciating." These lies are being told every day to all pregnant women who come in for an abortion. Once, I told a truth that saved a baby's life: A 15 year old girl came to Womancare with her mom and dad to have an abortion. The mom and daughter went into the clinic first, but the dad lingered outside for a little while..maybe showing me that he was hesitatn. As he walked passed me to enter the clinic, I called out to him: "That little girl is 5 months pregnant!" He stopped and said to me sadly: "She is a little over 5 months pregnant." I said to him: "Do you know what a 5 month old looks like in the womb?" He said: "No!" I said, "Here is what a 5 month old in the womb looks like." I gave him a beautiful color photo of a 5 month old baby in the womb sucking his/her thumb. He took the photo and looked at intently and said: "O my!! Can I have this picture?!" I said: "It is yours!" He went into the clinic and in about 12 minutes came out with his daughter, his wife and a strong look on his face. The girl had a little tears. He had to wage war in there to get his daughter out. He won that war and that baby is alive today because of the TRUTH of a photo. There was not just tissue in that girl..there was a living human being! The Truth is the Truth!
10) Hitler said that pure Arians were worthy of life. Jews were not worthy. He said the "Final Solution" of the Jewish problem was to exterminate them. He made it a law to kill them legally. 350 German Citizens volunteered to shoot Jews. Like legalized Abortion, legalized killing of Jews was an incredible LIE. Probably 8 million Jews died because of Hitler's lie..and 60 million babies because of the U.S. lies of the Supreme Court. Few Americans will see the truth that we are nearly 10 times as bad at Hitler.
11) All advertising on TV and Radio and Magazines and Internet are 95% pure exaggeration and lying.
12) The worst lie of all is lying to God. In our telling God: "Thanks; but no thanks!" to Jesus as Lord and Savior. This lie makes Jesus death on the cross just "NOT TRUE" for them. They will have eternity without God to contemplate the truth of Jesus' words: "I AM [name for God] the Truth!"
So, when St. Paul says: "Stop lying to one another", he means all of the above.
Father of all TRUTH, give us the Holy Spirit of Truth so we can always speak to the truth to You, to Jesus and to one another - especially the truth to ourselves. Give to all atheist in the world the grace to see the Truth. Be compassionate on them because they may have not had a good dad..and cannot relate to you. Give all pregnant mothers the truth of their babies in their wombs. Help the mothers to see truthfully and to love their babies and give birth to their babies because that is doing the truth! Abortion is doing a lie.
Help our Nation to be build on Truth not lies. Overturn Roe v Wade. Give us the joy of Jesus to be alive in our hearts to know the living Truth in us. In Jesus name. We pray. Amen.
